Brief Description of Research Project |
The study aims at developing sustainable concrete materials for infrastructure applications, and sensor technology can be used to improve the performance of concrete infrastructure. For example, the use of recycled concrete aggregate can raise concern about shrinkage and volume stability. New sensor technology can contribute to the acceptance of recycled concrete because it provides capability to be embedded in concrete pavements and structures and can be monitored using wireless technology. |
